MRC Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases and Department of Molecular Neuroscience

The Institute of Neurology is a specialist postgraduate institute. It is closely associated in its work with the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery and in combination they form a national and international centre at Queen Square for teaching, training and research in neurology, allied clinical and basic neurosciences.

The MRC Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases and Department of Molecular Neuroscience at UCL Institute of Neurology are focussed on the genetic causes and functional consequences of a number of neurological diseases such as the neuromuscular disorders, the ataxias, neurodegenerative conditions and many inherited disorders.
