Daniel graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2009 with a BSc in Pharmacology after which he joined Newcastle University’s MRC Biobank at the Institute of Genetic Medicine. In 2013 after 3 years of working as a technician in the Biobank, Daniel started as a research technician for the NeurOmics project. His current work focuses on using zebrafish based assays to provide functional data for the identification of novel genetic mutations in patients affected by neuromuscular disorders.
