Jeannette Hübener has been working in the Institute of Medical Genetics and Applied Genomics since 2004. She studied Biology at the University of Hannover. During her PhD training (2004-2008) she generated and characterized different SCA3 mutant mouse models. From 2008 she started her PostDoc with research interest in the pathogenesis of SCA3, focusing on proteolytic cleavage, synaptic and mitochondrial dysfunction and studying biomarkers.
