Dr Mojgan Reza has a broad background in the field of molecular biology and is mainly interested in the molecular genetics and pathomechanism of muscular dystrophy. She received her PhD at the Institute of Genetic Medicine, Newcastle University with specialization in gene therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Mojgan is working as a post-doctoral research associate at The John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre at the Newcastle University. Her work focuses on identification of potential biomarkers for therapeutic interventions in patients affected by neuromuscular disorders.
