Peter Bauer has been working in the Institute of Medical Genetics and Applied Genomics since 2001. After his medical studies he worked as a research fellow at the Neurological University Clinic Rostock. He is a medical specialist for human genetics since 2006 and received his habilitation from the University of Tübingen in 2010. His research focus lies on the genomic analysis and diagnostics of neurodegenerative diseases.
